1. Series 3 Ultrabase
The series 3 ultrabase is used on the X220(i), X220t, X230 and X230t.

- Gigabit Ethernet passthrough (when in use, the laptop’s ethernet port doesn’t work)

3. ThinkPad Mini Dock Series 3 (Product number: 4337-xxx)
- 1 x VGA
- 1 x Displayport (displayport is deactivated when DVI port is used)
- Single link DVI-D (even though its a dual link DVI-D)
- Gigabit Ethernet Passthrough (when in use, your laptop’s own gigabit ethernet is disabled)
- 6 USB 2.0 (in the updated model with USB 3.0 port, one of the USB port is USB 3.0)

4. ThinkPad Mini Dock Plus Series 3 (i.e. Workstation model) (Product number: 4338-xxx)

- 2 x DVI-D single link (when one DVI port is used, the Displayport next to it is disabled)
- Gigabit Ethernet Passthrough (when in use, your laptop’s own gigabit ethernet is disabled)

- eSATA (not eSATAp) – new USB 3.0 model has no eSATA port, the eSATA port is replaced with a USB 3.0 port

- 90 watts adapter (Workstation model comes with 135 watts, latest one comes with 170 watts adapter)
